Upcoming 2026 Programs
February - Lisa Steed and CC Conn, on the history of Nac and curating shows. Lisa and CC will be presenting on the history of the Nacogdoches Art Collaborative and the process of curating an art show, from the perspective of the artist and curator.
March - SAE (Share, Admire Evaluate). Members can share possible submissions of "Nature" photography for discussion regarding appropriateness and meeting criteria. This is an opportunity to get feedback on images that perhaps are a bit on the outer bounds of the construct, Nature.
April - Jay Swartz, Street Photography. The presentation will center on two primary approaches to street photography - "Storytelling" and " Aesthetic". We will also discuss "Subjects" and "Techniques" including candid, street portraits, geometric, architecture, abstract, night, and reflections.

May - Guy Dunham will present a program on "Formal and Informal Portraits". He will discuss fundamentals of both formal and informal portraits, including poses, lighting, and backdrops.
June - Robert Martin will give a presentation on Landscape photography. The presentation will include discussions of gear, camera settings, composition, lighting, weather, metering, and exposure.
July - No meeting. Gallery Show.
August - Off. No meeting.
September - TBD
October - SAE (Share, Admire, Evaluate). This is an opportunity to get feedback on images.
November - Elton Scifres. Subject yet to be selected.
